Our Story
In 1978, Asghar — a young man from Punjab, Pakistan — began bringing handmade carpets to Taipei, visiting customers in their homes so they could choose in their own space. What started as one man's passion grew into something lasting.
After Asghar's passing in 1992, his nephew Shafqat carried the business forward. Nearly five decades after it all began, Shafqat and his son Shehroze now run the gallery together — still sourcing directly, still choosing every piece by hand, still taking the time to tell each carpet's story to anyone who walks through the door.
This is not a warehouse. It is a gallery. And every carpet in it has earned its place.
